I have files on my computer system which carry legal significance.  I am working on a project which has patent applications and may have to prove in a court of law that the files I have deposited portraying my work have been carried out by me.  Files can be stored in file depositories which carry date stamps.  When legal disagreements occur can I show that they are mine.  A log file of hashes stored in a bank vault can match file in a file depository.


2 Un-Encrypted

1 SHA1 Log Creates an SHA1 log file of directory contents (no sub directories).

2 Double SHA1 Log Creates a Double SHA1 log file of directory contents (no sub directories).

---With Sub Directories Directory---

3 SHA1 Log Creates an SHA1 log file of directory and sub directory contents.

4 Double SHA1 Log Creates a Double SHA1 log file of directory and sub directory contents.

5 List Log Single Directory Creates a file with a list of directory contents (no sub directories). File structure is: Total File size and free space and a list of filename, file size, creation time, last access time, last write time.

6 List Log with Sub Directories Creates a file with a list of directory and sub directory contents. File structure is: Total File size and free space and a list of subdirectory filename, file size, creation time, last access time, last write time.

- Log Sub Directories on CDROM --- The Created files that follow can put in a directory of the users choosing.  This enables a  record to made of a directory without the directory being examined being changed.  If a file system records file access times then the file access time is recorded.

Both files can be put in a directory of the users choosing.  This provides the means to see if the Operating system keeps a record of access times.

  1. Create " create SHA Check Files (19,929,168 Bytes)" using the "Install - New Create Files , Directories for Program Checking"
  2. Run another program instance
  3. Type "ALT+U"
  4. Type "I"

  1. Click on "create SHA Check Files (19,929,168 Bytes) in list (A)
  2. Click on "Get Directory" button
  3. Select Drive
  4. Create Directory "check"
  5. Select Directory "check


  1. Type "ALT+3"


  1. Click on "Create Selection" button (E)
    1. SHA Check Files created in Folder
    2. SHA Check Files created in Sub Folder

  2. Close Program Instance
